VeePN - Secure VPN 2.6.0 is the Windows client of the VeePN service. It encrypts your PC's connection and routes it through VeePN servers, hiding your IP address from the websites you visit. The catalogue lists the licence as a demo: you can try the service, and full use requires a subscription. You can download VeePN - Secure VPN for Windows from veepn.com.
VeePN's supported platforms article lists Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11; macOS Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma and Sequoia; Linux via OpenVPN on Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, CentOS and Arch; and Android 10 to 16. The company has also published a post explaining that VeePN stops supporting legacy Windows, so on older Windows versions check that post before relying on the app.
VeePN works like other commercial VPNs: you pick a location from the list or use quick connect, and your traffic travels through an encrypted tunnel to the VeePN server. That protects data on public Wi-Fi and changes the location websites see. A single account covers several platforms, so a laptop and a phone can share the subscription. As with every VPN provider, the operator can see where your traffic goes, which makes the privacy policy the most important document to read before subscribing.
Switch to a nearby location, change the protocol in the settings if the app offers it, and pause other VPN or firewall software that might interfere. Restarting the PC resets the virtual network adapter if pages stop loading after disconnecting.
A VPN does not stop services you log in to from recognising you, and some streaming and banking sites block VPN addresses. VPN use is restricted in some countries and on many workplace and school networks; follow the rules where you are. More information about the company is on veepn.com.
